Some people like to view their porn in the privacy of their own homes, but some like to take it with them wherever they go. Laptop computers revolutionized the idea of watching porn wherever you went, but the iPod takes this a step further by making iPod sex the ultimate in easily portable pornography.

However, many porn companies seem to be shying away from the idea of making iPod sex.
The biggest issue seems to be the fact that so many young people are buying iPods, and companies are very, very concerned about iPod sex falling into the hands of anyone too young to view it. The larger porn companies, especially, seem to fear iPod sex being viewed by minors. They don’t want to perpetuation the idea that porn industries deliberately target young people, and they plan on doing everything they can when (or if) they release iPod sex, including credit card age verification, copy-protecting files so they can’t be shared with others, and not offering any R-rated content for free. Another concern is that employees will start taking iPod sex movies to work with them, although there’s very little porn companies can do about that.
Other companies, though, find this concern a little ridiculous. They cite the fact that anyone can find porn on the internet with very little difficulty, and not every porn site takes measures to keep minors away, or if they do, it’s something like asking for the viewers’ birthday or age without actually verifying it.
It’s impossible, these porn directors, producers, and distributors say, to keep iPod sex out of the hands of minors, so why even try? These companies, though not major porn creators, have and still are releasing iPod sex. It’s a very interesting perspective that few other, more traditional porn sites have experimented with.
Some of these are available for download from various websites and are very easy to find. In fact, a quick search on any search engine for “i{od porn” will return over 280,000 hits, many of which offer free iPod sex (although we know porn is very rarely free).
While the creators of porn may be shying away from iPod sex for the most part, we as the viewers need to be careful, too. There are some states with laws that make it illegal to look at porn in cars, so if you watch your iPod sex while driving, you may get in trouble. I guess you can always pull over and go sit in the park and watch it, though. That seems a little backwards to me, but I don’t make the laws….
In my opinion, the debate over iPod sex is the same as the debate over porn in general: people might not like it, but for better or worse, it’s there. And since it is, I say those of us who can afford iPods should take full advantage of everything iPod sex offers!
